How to Get Hersilia Skin & Olav II in Evony Midsummer 2025

The Evony 2025 Midsummer events are now live. This update introduces exclusive General Skins, new Generals, Ideal Land Ornaments, and Officer Equipment Scrolls. Alongside these debuts, various fan-favorite items and events have returned. This guide provides a comprehensive breakdown and analysis of the season’s most significant content.

Roman Legend – Hersilia Skin

The Roman Legend skin for Hersilia provides substantial stat improvements for endgame players:

  • Ownership Buff: Siege Machine Attack +15% (Activated permanently upon acquisition).

  • Equipped Buff: Ranged Troop and Siege Machine Defense +16%.

How to Obtain

Access the Glorious Attire interface through the Event Center. Players can use Heirloom Torches to participate in the recruitment draw for a chance to obtain Hersilia’s skin. By selecting Heroic Feats on the left side of the menu, you can also switch to the recruitment pool for the Historic General Hersilia, which also requires Heirloom Torches.

While participating in these recruitment events, you may also receive the following rewards:

  • Elite Materials: Blood of Ares, Tactic Scrolls, Runestone Chests, and Dragon Source Fragments.

  • Refining & Growth: Junior Blazon Chests, Source of Life, Research Stones, and Refining Stones.

  • Essentials: Gold, Medals, 60-min Speedups, and standard resources (Food, Lumber, Stone, Ore).

  • Experience: General EXP and Monarch EXP.

Acquiring Heirloom Torches

  • Resource Gathering: Collect up to 10 torches daily from world resource spots.

  • Monster Hunting: Defeat monsters to earn a maximum of 20 torches per day.

  • Event Packages: Small Heirloom Torch packages contain 4 torches, while large packages provide 40. Utilizing Double or Triple Down coupons when purchasing these packs is highly recommended to maximize your total torches.

New General: Olav II

Olav II joins the roster as a specialized offensive leader for mounted units.

  • Special Skill: Increases mounted troops’ attack by 55% and boosts mounted troops’ defense and HP by 40% when leading an army to attack.

How to Obtain

The most effective way to secure this general is through the Historic General Summoning event. Players must collect Epic Historic General (Glory) tokens to complete the summoning. These tokens are currently obtainable from the highest tier of the 2025 Midsummer sale packages.

You can obtain the Maypole Dance from the “Voyage to Civilizations” event.
First, there is an opportunity to get the Maypole Dance by voyaging. Voyaging needs to consume the “Golden Ship Wheel”. You can obtain golden ship wheels from senior and super voyage sale packs. Also, golden ship wheels will be awarded when the voyage process reaches a certain number of times.
Then, the second way to get the Maypole Dance is to redeem it with the “Golden Commemorative Coin”. Every 7 coins can be exchanged for 1 Maypole Dance ornament. 31 ornaments need to be upgraded to the maximum level. You can acquire golden commemorative coins by voyaging.

Returned General: Sargon I

Original special skill – Increases troops’ defense and HP by 10% when he is the Military Academy Officer.
During 2025 Midsummer, you can get the general at the “King’s Party” event when your cake reaches level 10. You can upgrade the cake EXP by purchasing basic gems (including packages).

  • Ranged troop HP +5%
Craft materials:

You can also get the armor scroll from the “King’s Party” cake level 10.

  • Own to activate: training speed +10%
  • Use to activate: attacking siege machine and ranged troop attack +10%
  • Use to activate: attacking ranged troop defense +30%
  • Use to activate: enemy mounted troop HP -30%

  • Own to activate: training speed +10%
  • Use to activate: reinforcing ranged troop and siege machine attack +30%
  • Use to activate: reinforcing ranged troop and siege machine HP +40%
  • Use to activate: reinforcing ranged troop and siege machine defense +40%
You can get one of the dream swan castles from the party cake level 10 in the 2025 Midsummer “King’s Party“.

Decoration Collection

Mutual Affection: Collect Castle Dream Swan (just one of the two is ok) + March Effect Swan Knights
Own to activate:
  • Attacking siege machine attack +5%
  • All resources gathering speed +5%
During 2025 Midsummer, you can purchase the “Decoration Collection” pack to obtain the March Effect Swan Knights.

Great Expedition Event

During the event, you must first obtain “Expedition Dice” to roll for movement. The ways to obtain them are as follows:
  1. One free roll per day
  2. Daily activity rewards
    1. Activity reaches 20 to earn 1 dice.
    2. Activity reaches 50 to earn 2 dice.
    3. Activity reaches 110 to earn 3 dice.
  3. Packages
    1. Each Great Expedition Package contains 5 dice.
    2. Each Super Great Expedition Package has 50 dice.
Then, roll the dice to determine the number of steps to move forward. When you reach the designated grid, you can receive the corresponding reward or trigger a special event. The following situations may be triggered:
  • Get a magic dice
  • Move forward 1/2/3 step(s)
  • Move back 1/2/3 step(s)
  • Shortcut Route
  • Roll again (earn 1 free roll)
