Soult is a renowned French general and statesman who holds the prestigious rank of Marshal General of France. In Evony: The King’s Return, he is classified as an Epic Historic General, specifically optimized for commanding Ground Troops (Infantry). This guide covers Soult’s lore, base stats, Special Skills, Specialties, acquisition methods, and the best Main/Assistant General pairings.

Lore & Background
In 1805, Soult’s IV Corps executed a brilliant maneuver across Augsburg, effectively severing Austrian supply lines. Following a relentless French offensive, the grand army encircled the Austrian forces at Ulm. Four days later, the Austrians surrendered—a massive victory resulting in the capture of 25,000 men, 18 generals, 65 guns, and 40 standards.
Soult’s tactical genius was further cemented during the Battle of Austerlitz. Leading the IV Corps, he launched a decisive strike against the Allied center on Pratzen Heights, capitalizing on a gap left by the Allied over-deployment against the French right flank. With the center demolished, French forces swept through both enemy flanks.
As a master strategist, Soult remains one of only six officers in French history to be honored with the title of Marshal General of France.
